Cover art
Cover art is some of my favorite illustration work to do! I love creating a single piece that can capture the entry of a book. I’ve created covers for comics, novels, and even fan anthology projects.
Some clients I’ve worked with to create covers include Lion Forge, Oni Press, Image Comics, and IDW Comics. From brainstorming multiple options to choosing compelling colors, I bring my experience and passion to the whole process!
Trading card art
Working with Harmonix, the creators of popular music games including Rock Band and Dance Central, I created a series of illustrations for their card game Drop Mix. Each card required a different color scheme, but also needed to tie together thematically.
In this case the theme was space station. It was a fantastic opportunity to create some sci-fi art, my favorite genre to work in! Inspired by comics and trading cards of the 90s I proposed the concept of an illustration that stretched across all the cards. Each one works independently, but if you happen to collect them all you’ll discover they fit together into a full illustration.
Character design
Creating fun characters is at the core of so much of my work. I’ve created and iterated on concepts for many characters and creatures for comics, toys, and more.
Portraits
I’ve illustrated a variety of portraits for private and corporate clients. This is a series commissioned by Sony PlayStation of some of their executives.
Pet Portraits
I provide a variety of private commissions, but the most popular of these are definitely my pet portraits.
